The United States Senate’s website states that the Vice President’s job can be the most “ignored constitutional office” in the federal government. Recent searches on Google Trends shows just that.

In a Google Trends search, it shows that despite the power and ACTs, vice presidents are involved in, the average person doesn’t research them and their impact.

During his vice presidency, Joe Biden aided in the Gun Violence Task following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Back in 2019, during President Donald Trump’s legal battles: Mike Pence was eligible to stand in Trump’s position pending the trial.

However, this Trend shows that Mike Pence was hardly searched in the past 90 days versus his GOP mate, Donald Trump, soaring in Google searches. Coincidentally, the Democratic nominees are the same. Joe Biden receiving steady Google searches, meanwhile Kamala Harris only having a surge on the day she was nominated as the Democratic Vice President candidate

In mid-August, Cardi B and Megan thee Stallion broke several records with their new release, WAP. The duo reached #1 on the Billboards, while also bringing 93 million streams; 125,000 digital downloads and went Gold within a week.

It seems like people are wondering what WAP truly means, according to Google Trends, the search for the phrase soars on the night of its release. (Due to graphic content warnings, the abbreviation for WAP will not be displayed) WAP was released a few weeks after a shooting that injured the rapper, Megan thee Stallion so there are a few surges in her name search as a well.
